Ville "Burger" Vuorela

Lead Designer

Ville has been here before. He has designed pen-and-paper RPGs, mobile games, console game stories and Browser MMOs. He has also written three books (soon to be four) and taught game design to future industry professionals. When not working on HAX, Ville makes his living as a senior game designer for Casual Continent, runs his own pen-and-paper publishing label Burger Games (http://www.burgergames.com) and has disturbing visions of a dystopian future.

Marko Saaresto

Lead Coder

Marko is the frowning clown of the lot, dead serious at making you laugh. He enjoys entertaining and making people have a good time. Whether it is music, circus acts, parties or whooshing through air at astounding speeds, it is the delighted glimmer in the eyes of the audience that drives him on. This time his instrument is the computer and the stage for the HAX Show is being built on solid professional software engineering skills, honed to perfection over three decades.

Jani Hämäläinen

Lead Artist

Jani is graphics mercenary for whom no task is too hard and no fee too big. He used to work for megacorps but now prowls the streets as a freelancer, taking on missions and commissions for street cred and living. As a HAX team member he has drawn every pixel in the game, as well as the graphics of this website.

Sami "Niksu" Nikander

Programmer, UI specialist

Niksu is a multitasking jack-of-all trades and a father, which is basically the same thing. In the past he has done everything from serious academic stuff to organizing roleplaying conventions, so besides being a programmer he makes a pretty good fixer. Niksu has also been referred to as a fuzzy plush toy, a distinction the rest of the Wirepunk crew still lacks. Consequently, he has been chosen to be the face of Wirepunk if the crew is ever caught on camera.
